Leon Battiste has been a professional body piercer for the past 14 years. To him it's not a job, but a passion. What sets him apart from the rest is his training, knowledge, bedside manner, and genuine love for the industry. He wants every person that sits in his chair to walk out not only with a new piercing, but an experience they won't forget. While knowing every client's needs are different, they are guaranteed to get his full professional attention. Leon will be attending this year's Association of Professional Piercers Conference as part of his ongoing education. As an advocate for proper sterilization techniques, he will be involved in designing the Bloomington-Normal Tattoo and Body Piercing Establishment Registration Act. Outside of Artkore, Leon teaches mixed-martial arts, he is also the head coach of the cage fighting team at AMMA. Leon loves Star Wars, long walks on the beach and comic books.
